Wedding Invitation Wording: Both sets of parents

A fortnight ago I gave you all a wording guide for your wedding invitations relating to who was hosting your wedding. This week we’ll focus on the wording and etiquette you would use if both sets of parents will be hosting your wedding.

Mr. and Mrs. Lance Wright
Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Brown
request the honour of your company
at the marriage of their children
Annie Michelle
David Rodney
Saturday, the twenty fourth of June
two thousand and fourteen
at twelve o’clock in the afternoon
St. Peter’s Church
The City, London

Always remember……
Names: It is usually assumed that the bride and groom share the same surname as their parents, therefore only their first and middle names are used.
